The automobile has always been a focus throughout my life. I studied mechanical engineering so I could one day design cars. I find great satisfaction in science but I wanted to merge it with art. I began my professional life started out as a graphic designer in New York City, working on creating identities and logo marks. I moved to sunny California shortly thereafter to join studios like R/Greenberg Associates (R/GA) and Imaginary Forces, where I was fortunate to work on incredible main title sequences for film and television projects. Some years later, I moved to Seattle and join a startup design studio, Digital Kitchen.

There, I was lucky to direct a commercial for Ford that played during the Super Bowl.

A decade would pass where life came full circle and I would join BMW's Designworks, transitioning my design career into the world of digital user experiences where I would begin working on in-car experiences, which I continue to practice today as a Design Director for Fisker.

My love for automotive continues to extend into my hobbies, with teaching high performance driving on the race track. On some occasions, I have been known to break out my camera for photography, which is my second passion.

At Fisker, I led our team in developing the Fisker in-car user experience for the Ocean EV and future production vehicles. I was also responsible for designing the vehicle's ADAS system user experience that comprised all vehicle safety and driving assistants and its real-time visualization in the center display and instrument cluster.

I also invented/authored IP that  visualized energy use and regeneration using in graphical displays

I worked on a multitude of projects along many design disciplines at my personal studio during this time. Projects included branding, user experience, future product concepts with Apple, Google, Kia, and Snap as clients. Examples include:

• Logomark for Ubisoft Skull and Bones

• Product launch for Google Stadia

BMW Group Designworks

Creative Director, Interaction Design


Designworks was BMW Group's advanced design lab where I led our team designing advanced and production interaction projects. Notable projects included BMW i3 and i8, Toyota Supra, Rolls-Royce Phantom & Cullinan SUV.

We also worked on non-automotive projects such as product experiences for Haier (smart appliances) and future mobility projects shown at CES.

I provided design services for many clients this period that combined traditional motion design and interactive experiences and with amazing collaborators like RTKL and MIT. Some key project highlights were:

• Interactive retail experience, Chiangi Airport, Singapore

• Future vision projects, Microsoft

• Launch of Microsoft Windows Live Essentials

• Nicktoons network rebrand

Digital Kitchen

Creative Director, Studio


I helped launch the Los Angeles design studio for Digital Kitchen. I was responsible for every project produced there, client interactions, new business and creating and retaining high quality of our output. During my tenure there, my main role was to shehard the launch of AT&T's U-Verse offering. The intiative included creating design strategy, on-air content, design system and marcom for U-Verse.
