Starting out in New York City as a graphic designer, I worked on logos, identity programs and branding. Saul Bass was one of my 'design heroes' and so a love for film and motion in design motivated me to move to Los Angeles, joining renowned motion design studios like R/Greenberg Associates (R/GA). There, I had the incredible opportunity to work on main title sequences for film, animated logos and other projects where I honed my ability to craft engaging narratives. It was there I also began working in interactive projects, creating user interfaces for video games.
In 2005, as creative director for Digital Kitchen, I helped launch AT&T U-verse network. at Digital Kitchen, my main focus shifted to building design teams, studio operations, client relations and business development.
In 2011, I joined BMW's Designworks as interaction design director, focusing on championing user-centric design for BMW's mobility projects. There, I worked closely with engineers and software developers on the i3 and i8's iDrive for the concept and production vehicles, later moving to Germany to lead the HMI design for Rolls-Royce and the Toyota Supra.
In 2021, I joined Fisker as their UX design director. I led our user experience team and a new focus on designing Fisker's Assisted Driving and Safety (ADAS) program, actively participating with suppliers, engineers and software developers, in creating, testing and validating their features for vehicle launch in 2023.
My passion for creativity, the automobile and technology, extends beyond my professional life; I coach high-performance driving on the race track so drivers can enjoy their sports cars safely. I have taught design at Art Center College of Design, contributing to their their professional journey.
